Tommaso Luccarini
Founder of Complement - Osteo & Physio
Registered Osteopath and Chartered Physiotherapist
BSc Physiotherapy, MCSP, HCPC MSc Osteopathy GOsC Reg

After completing his physiotherapy degree with merit from the University of Brescia in Italy in 2010, Tommaso enrolled at Milan’s ICOM, the International College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he completed his Master in Osteopathic Science (MSc) with merit in 2016.

Tommaso has worked at numerous private practices in Italy and the UK, focusing on musculoskeletal physiotherapy, structural osteopathy, and post-surgical and conservative rehabilitation. He became especially passionate about spine conditions and sports injury management. He collaborated with a number of sports teams from football and basketball to ultimate frisbee, athletics (track and field) and tri-athletics, yoga, cycling, and tennis.

After more than 10 years of collaboration with other great therapists and healthcare professionals, he decided to launch his own project. Complement - Osteo & Physio arose from the need to establish his own clinic, inspired by the idea of combining osteopathy and physiotherapy expertise into one holistic, highly efficient method, within a multidisciplinary team.

“I believe the best way for my patients to recover is through a combined approach made of manual therapy and active rehabilitation, helping them to reduce their pain, then instructing them in safe and effective post-treatment exercises and lifestyle, allowing them to get back to normal daily life and sports activities. It’s paramount to me to create a strong relationship with my patients to make sure they are fully aware of what their condition is and how it will be treated”.

Tommaso offers treatments in English, Italian, and Spanish. He is registered in the UK with the following professional bodies: General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), Institute of Osteopathy (iO), Healthcare Professional Council (HCPC), Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).

Nick Charlish
Senior MSK Physiotherapist
BSc Physiotherapy, MCSP, HCPC

Nick has worked as a private Physiotherapist for a decade, working with a wide range of people from those suffering with years of chronic pain to GB athletes. Through his career, he has worked with a variety of conditions and is passionate about helping his patients to understand their pain, how their body functions and guiding them back to pain-free movement.

His physio career began in a busy private practice in Norwich after graduating with a 1st class degree in Physiotherapy from the University of East Anglia. After 2 years he relocated to London to complete a MSc in Exercise & Sports Medicine in 2016. During the course he worked with leading Sports medicine consultants, elite sports teams and he has enjoyed strengthening his knowledge in sports injury prevention and rehabilitation.

As Nick’s career has developed he became increasingly fascinated by chronic pain, presentations that involve pain in multiple areas of the body or scenarios where the source of pain is unclear. To specialise in these areas, Nick enrolled on a year long course with world-renowned physio Dr LJ Lee to better understand full body biomechanics. Simply put, this means examining how the whole body is working as one complete system and not just focusing on the area of symptom.

In the last decade, the amount of research that connects chronic pain and the role of the brain is truly overwhelming and to bring this into his practise, Nick studied and completed a certification in an approach called Pain Reprocessing Therapy. This specialist treatment has been developed by experts in pain and has been shown to help people overcome years of pain in a matter of weeks.

Outside of the clinic, Nick is a keen photographer, coffee lover and avid sportsman. After a post-pandemic slump in exercise, Nick has filled his 2024 with a variety of long distance sports events from a T100 triathlon to a marathon.

Kelly B
Senior MSK Physiotherapist
BSc Physiotherapy MHCPC MCSP

Since her graduation in 2013 from the University of East London, Kelly has gained valuable experience in various settings, such as hospitals, private practices and gyms. She has also worked as a touring physiotherapist for theatre productions and in the West End, helping performers and the backstage staff with the most different conditions.

With such a diversified background, Kelly has developed a holistic approach that she uses with her patients at Complement - Osteo & Physio. In fact, she gained a skillset that allows her to assess any conditions and create a mid and long-term treatment plan that is focused on exercise prescription, Pilates, massage therapy and acupuncture. Among all, her clinical interests are shoulder conditions and running-related injuries, for which she performs detailed biomechanics assessments.

“I love enlightening people to better understand their body and helping them to live a better quality of life through improved mobility. I take a special interest in strength, conditioning and rehabilitation – and I try to supplement these with pain relief methods such as acupuncture and soft tissue work. I have also developed a strong interest in women’s health.”

Kelly is registered in the UK with the following professional bodies: Healthcare Professional Council (HCPC) and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).

Emma Delalex
Registered Osteopath - Adult and Paediatric
MSc Osteopathy, GOsC Reg

Emma Delalex

Emma graduated from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) with a Master’s degree and then continued her learning journey with a post-graduate course in pediatric osteopathy at the Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC) in Shoreditch, London.

Emma treats patients from all walks of life and ages, and helps with musculoskeletal concerns from head to toe, joint pain, pregnancy, and post-partum; always with the intention of inviting the body into better function and harmony. Emma sees babies and children with symptoms of reflux, sleeping and feeding difficulties, teething, flat head syndrome, torticollis and post-birth trauma.

Using a holistic approach in her work, Emma treats the patient as a whole and not simply the symptoms. She works in partnership with patients to go deeper into the root cause of the problem. She often steers towards a craniosacral approach but also utilizes a range of techniques: structural, soft tissue work, and joint mobilization. Additionally, Emma also implements lifestyle advice and/or exercises in her treatment sessions, always tailored to the patient’s needs.

Emma offers treatments in English and French. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and the Institute of Osteopathy (iO).
